That was a wonderful turnout yesterday at IIT Madras! The incessant rains finally gave up! The spirit of hundreds of runners who attended the MARG Chennai Runners Half Marathon was far too much for the rain God to handle! Clear skies and damp roads was a blessing. Thank You, runners – You made it!
Some did their first run, some did their first 10K and some did their first half marathon. A stupendous turnout of men, women, boys and girls from across India and the world who turned up in their running gear was an extremely delightful sight to see!
We at Chennai Runners would like to thank each one of the participants, the volunteers, the sponsors and IIT-Madras for making the event so successful and a memorable one!
